In 2020, Sorensen Logistics was fortunate enough to help students and staff move into the new Roth Athletics Center. The two-story 37,288-square-foot building is attached to their existing Wayne Densch Sports Center and the pride of the University of Central Florida Athletic Department.
Soon after, we assisted in the setup and preparation of the Rosengren Lounge. This lounge serves as a hospitality lounge for visitors on the field, complete with premier Cabana seating outside. Sorensen’s Orlando location was integral in receiving, delivering, and setting up these one-of-a-kind interior and exterior spaces.
Biology and Medical Facilities Management
Our past partnerships with UCF and partnering health systems made Sorensen Logistics a natural choice for medical facility management. Lake Nona Medical City is host to the UCF Health Sciences Campus at Lake Nona. With three separate facilities on campus, there is a high demand for resources.
The UCF medical centers: UCF College of Medicine, UCF Health – Lake Nona, and UCF Lake Nona Medical Center all feature state-of-the-art equipment and laboratory resources. The Sorensen Logistics team receives, warehouses, and delivers critical resources that help students, faculty, and patients charge on!
On-campus Facility Maintenance
Outside of the specialty needs of given departments, Sorensen Logistics also assists the campus as a whole. This includes shifting staff offices, moving reallocated resources across buildings or rooms, and storing items in our climate-controlled warehouse that are temporarily out of commission.
The University of Central Florida has made significant investments in its Biomedical programs, and Sorensen Logistics is proud to be part of that. We work closely with UCF to provide an exceptional learning environment for students and faculty alike.
Sorensen Logistics can provide your campus with storage services for students and faculty. We serve both Florida-based institutions and student moving services nationwide. Contact our team to learn how we can support your facility maintenance and student body needs.
